Operations Analyst, Amsterdam

Job summary

In this role, you will be working directly with the Operations Manager, providing support on various projects with clear deliverables. You will help contribute to the growth and development of Goodwell’s business needs today and in the future. This role encompasses all functions related to an Operations Analyst. Specifically, you will provide support in researching, developing, and standardizing various policies and processes across all Goodwell teams. Not only will you gain valuable experience, but you will also receive regular training from a team of investment experts and operations professionals. 

Responsibilities and duties

• Business Process Optimization 
  • Support in documentation, research, and administration of the BPO project. The BPO project has been established to achieve higher efficiency in order to process increasing volumes of output and create scalable and future-proof processes.
  • Liaise with various process owners and different teams across the organization to coordinate follow-up on workshops and ideas.
  • Assist in ensuring all processes are in check in respect to receiving an AIFMD (Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive) license.  
• Risk management 
  • Key responsibilities include documenting, measuring, and monitoring all identified risks within the existing Risk Management Framework. For each identified risk, you will determine where the organization’s responsibilities lie, in accordance with the RACI model.  
  • Assist with the execution of processes and procedures to strive toward operational excellence.  
  • Analyze and review risk indicators to ensure a clear overview. 
• Investor Relations (IR) projects and Operations
  • Support in Project management for planned fundraising activities, e.g., preparing and coordinating IR roadshows. 
  • Operations manual and support implementation of operational processes, documenting new standards/processes/roadmaps in the Operations Manual. 
• Audits 
  • Support in planning, arranging, and guiding the annual audit process.
• Support on other occurring activities 
  • Additional research, operational or administrative ad-hoc tasks related to different teams/team members, for example conducting research on internal overhead costs (IT & Marketing). 

Qualifications

• Education and working experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law or Business Administration. 
  • Interest in sustainable investments or investments in emerging markets. 
  • Proactive team member, interested in working in an international setting and capable of navigating between different teams and cultures. 
  • Excellent communication skills, able to proactively provide constructive feedback. 
  • Ambition to grow in a new role in a fast-growing specialized PE firm. 
  • Meticulous, high level of accuracy and excellent PC/MS Office skills. 
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
